The Glendale Star - Friday, October 17, 2014
The City of Glendale Economic Development Department is partnering with the Arizona Commerce Authority and the Glendale Chamber of Commerce to present a free workshop for area manufacturing companies.
The workshop will be held 10 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 21 at the Glendale Main Library Auditorium, 5959 W. Brown St.
Representatives of some 100 Glendale manufacturing companies will learn about sales development in a presentation led by Dave Neal, CEO of Neal & Associates Business Consultants of Phoenix.
“Holding events like this, really gives us an opportunity to provide value to the many area manufacturers who are so important to our local economy,” said Brian Friedman, Glendale’s economic development director.
The Glendale workshop, as well as other events being held throughout the state during October, are organized by the Arizona Commerce Authority and its partners as part of Arizona Manufacturers Month, which Governor Jan Brewer proclaimed earlier this month.
