Chamber to Honor Luke Air Force Base Servicemen and Women

At May 7 Power Luncheon

Tickets are still available for the Chamber’s First “Business Power Luncheon” of 2008 to be held May 7 from 11:30am-1pm at Arrowhead Country Club.  Colonel Henry M. Reed III, Vice Commander of the 56^th Fight Wing - Luke Air Force Base will be the featured speaker, and the Chamber will honor four Luke servicemen and women for their outstanding service to the community.

Colonel Reed will give “Power Lunch” attendees an inside look at Luke Air Force Base, its economic impact to the Glendale area business community and its involvement in current operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and other deployments around the world.  Additionally, Colonel Reed and Chamber Chairman of the Board June Nelson will honor four Luke servicemen and women for outstanding service they have provided above and beyond their Air Force commitments as volunteers in the West Valley.

Join us as we kick off our 2008 series of “Business Power Luncheons”.  Reservations are $30 each, or $300 for a table of 10, and should be made by May 5.  This is also a great networking event and an opportunity to express our appreciation for our honorees’ service to our country.
